Fulton Hogan Smooth the Way
Tom Sander, Construction Manager of the New Plymouth branch of Fulton Hogan organized a 'rainy day' job for some of his men in the aid of Charity. Hearing Dogs for Deaf People New Zealand have been very lucky to have such a generous donation of time, materials and hard work.
Originally approached to give us a quote on sealing our driveway so that we could apply for funding to support this work, Tom was quick to find us a temporary solution to our very uneven surface.
Fulton Hogan's men came onto our Training Centre grounds with one of their rollers and compacted the course materials that were making our driveway difficult to walk on, they then bought in small blue chip stones and covered the whole area. The result is a substantially better surface for our trainee hearing dogs, staff and visitors to the Training Centre.
This was probably a small job for a large company, but it is heart warming to receive such a big hand out to us as a small National Charity.
Thank you for your help in making our Centre a better place to be!

A BIG COMPANY WITH A BIG HEART
