Dog-A-Thon & Open Day

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People New Zealand are combining a Dog-A-Thon and opening their Training Centre and National Office to the public.

Dog-A-Thon

Dog-A-Thon starts at 10.00am from the front gates of the Training Centre, heads over the adjacent paddock, across the bridge and through some woodlands, across a swing bridge over the Waiwakaiho River and through a wonderful bush walk.  The round trip is a 30 minute brisk walk or you can take it at a leisurely stroll and enjoy the magnificent scenery.

Open Day

Once the walk has been completed you are invited to stay and enjoy the activities at the Training Centre.  There is no entrance fee but donations are welcomed.
