Hearing Dog Gallery

Here are some photos of our wonderful Dogs that support their Recipients in their everyday living.

Amber

Below is Amber a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel donated by a breeder - this photo was taken while she was in training.  Amber is now a qualified Hearing Dog living in Inglewood.

Bailey

Bailey lives and works for his Recipient in Rotorua.

Sparkie

Sparkie was sourced from the SPCA and is a Bearded Collie Cross - he has been working as a Hearing Dog for 4 years.

Storm

Storm lives in Auckland with her recipient and this photo was taken when she was in training.

Floyd

Although starting his working life with his recipient in Dunedin Floyd now lives in Hawera with her.

Topsy

Seated beside her favourite toy 'Mr Frog" for this picture.  Topsy is the smallest Hearing Dog in New Zealand.  Topsy was kindly donated by a private person and trained in 2008 - she lives in Wellington with her Recipient.

Tyra

Donated by a breeder this Shih Tzu is a working dog in Christchurch for her recipient.

Coffee

Coffee is a Labradoodle donated by a breeder and is a qualified working dog in Tokoroa.

The money raised for Coffee's training came from the RSA in Papatoetoe - their patrons kindly sponsored her training while enjoying their coffee.

Barlow

Pictured here by the front porch of the National Training Centre, this was a rare photo opportunity as Barlow loves to be on the move.  Barlow lives with his recipient in New Plymouth.

Flossy

A qualified Hearing Dog living with her recipient in Wanganui.

Mischa

Down in Wanaka lives Mischa a Shih Tzu that was donated by a breeder and lives with her Recipient.  You can read all about Mischa in a separated article under 'Features".
