National Training Centre

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People New Zealand's National Office and Training Centre is situated just 5 minutes drive from the CBD.  This Centre is based in a most beautiful rural setting alongside a river and public bush walk and incorporates a large free run area fully fenced.

Our National Office operates at this cottage.  The office includes three separate offices and a reception lounge as you enter.

This is a 'simulated' house where the trainee Hearing Dogs come each day to learn how to alert Recipients to the sounds in the home.

This cottage is where Recipients come to stay while they get to know their dog and learn all about how to get their dog working to sounds.
