An independent national research firm has been employed by the Board of Trustees. The primary objective was to estimate the numbers of Deaf and Severely Hearing Impaired New Zealanders who meet the criteria for becoming a hearing dog recipient.
The results of this project will assist the board and management team in the future strategic planning of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People New Zealand.
